Job summary

Richards Building Supply Co. is seeking a CDL Class B Driver for our Jackson, MI location. The ideal candidate will have a CDL Class B license with air brake endorsement and be willing to train for flatbed moffett operations and knuckleboom/crane handling.

Overtime opportunities on Saturdays are available. The role involves safely delivering products to job sites, unloading materials, receiving warehouse stock, and maintaining inventory.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class B license with Air Brake Endorsement.
• 1 year CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to job sites and unload material as requested by customers.
• Receive materials in warehouse, load trucks and process inventory.
• Unload shingles on single- and two-story homes.
• Load shipments for daily deliveries in compliance with DOT weight limits.
• Move materials to designated areas and receive merchandise at the warehouse.
