Job summary

Atlanta Community Food Bank is seeking a full-time Driver to operate our trucks from East Point and support weekend and flexible hours as needed. You will transport food and supplies to partners, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries while presenting a professional image of the organization.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, route adherence, load/unload tasks, and accurate documentation. A valid Georgia CDL, MEC, and a clean driving record are required to maintain compliance with DOT

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia Class B CDL is required.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) is required.
• Safe driving record and ability to provide a MVR.
• Must meet DOT Clearinghouse requirements.
• Ability to satisfy Driver Qualification (DQ) File requirements.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver food and items to partners, agencies, donors, and events.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy at departure and arrival.
• Operate trucks and associated equipment safely.
• Maintain delivery documentation and records.
