Job summary

Diaz Foods is seeking a reliable Class B Driver to join our Transportation team in Atlanta. You will safely operate a Class B vehicle, deliver food products to restaurants and stores, and manage documentation and delivery schedules in the local area.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and timely deliveries, with responsibilities including load/unload, inspections, and maintaining records. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• Current DOT Medical Card required.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet insurance requirements.
• Previous delivery or commercial driving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle and deliver food products to customers in the local Atlanta area.
• Load and unload products as needed and ensure deliveries are completed accurately.
• Verify orders and obtain required delivery documentation and customer signatures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and follow all safety procedures.
• Follow routes and delivery schedules and report maintenance concerns promptly.
