Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a CDL Class B Truck Driver in Salina, KS to operate a waste hauling truck for residential pickups. This full-time role involves home daily shifts, long hours, and a safety-first mindset.

You’ll perform vehicle inspections, ensure regulatory compliance, and report maintenance needs while staying on the road most days. We offer competitive base pay, incentive opportunities, and a benefits package including life insurance and a retirement plan with company match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class A/B is preferred; Class B driving experience is a plus.
• No more than one moving violation on MVR in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a waste hauling truck around ~150 miles from home.
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections and report issues.
• Comply with trucking rules, regulations and company policies.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions and report defects.

DIRECT LABOR Full Time Manual Labor Salina, KS, US

Reports To: Operations Supervisor and/or Operations Manager

As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pick up. Operating around 150 miles of your home, you lift and carry residential waste and deposit into a compactor. Throughout your day, you are attentive to safety and are sure to report any defects, accidents, or violations. You inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report preventative maintenance needs to management team. Each day, you are happy to be on the road and not stuck in an office.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Safely operate around 150 miles of home
• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report any and all defects, accidents, or violations
• Carry out other duties as needed or instructed

Shift/Schedule:

• Home Daily
• Monday-Friday
• Additional hours may be needed
• Shift is 10-12 Hours
