Imperial Brady in Romulus, MI is hiring a Driver (Straight Truck)/Class B Delivery Driver. This role focuses on delivering to customer locations on a daily route, loading/unloading, and maintaining accurate logs.

The workweek is Monday through Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm or until the route is finished. Requirements include a valid CDL B, ability to pass a DOT medical exam, a good driving record, and at least 1 year of CDL B and route delivery experience, with lift gate and pallet jack handling skills

Qualifications

• The job requires a valid commercial driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam.
• A good driving record is required.
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience.
• 1 year of route delivery experience.
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience.
• Hazmat endorsement is preferred.
• Lift gate experience.
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted).
• Strong work ethic.

The Driver (Straight Truck)/Class B Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, or until the daily route is completed.

• Safely operate a 26’ box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

You have:

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
