Job summary

QXO, a leading building products distributor, is seeking a Class B CDL driver to join our logistics team in Massachusetts. You will operate a manual transmission truck, perform touch-freight tasks, pre-inspect equipment, and ensure loads are secure and delivered on time.

Candidates must have at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience, be 21+, and able to work outdoors in all weather. We offer a $1,500 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, a 401(k) with employer match, and

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class B CDL in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and communicate with dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
