Job summary

QXO, North America’s largest insulation distributor and installer, seeks a driver/loader to join its field team. You will handle touch‑freight, load and unload, and ensure loads are secured and delivered safely.

The role requires a Class B CDL, at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience, and ability to work outdoors in all weather. Teamwork and safety come first, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to load and offload trucks and lift heavy material.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch‑freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre‑inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE.
