Colonial Group is hiring a Delivery Driver responsible for operating trucks weighing over 26,000 pounds and delivering materials to customer sites. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and professional customer service.

The candidate must hold a Class B CDL, pass MVR, and maintain DOT medical certification within five days of request. Prior delivery experience and forklift operation are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license and Class B CDL are required.
• Pass MVR report and obtain DOT medical card within 5 days of request.
• Less than 5 moving violations in 5 years.
• Basic math & measurement skills; ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to customer sites and securely position loads.
• Maintain logs of deliveries, verify against invoice and documents.
• Assist customers with unloading and protect product and property.
• Operate delivery vehicle safely and perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Use handheld device to log DVIR/HOS and handle paperwork as needed.
• May perform credit/pickup returns and forklifting tasks as required.
