Job summary

QXO, a leading distributor and installer of building products, is seeking a safety‑mocused truck driver to join the team. The role focuses on touch‑free freight, load verification, and site inspections to ensure safe, timely deliveries.

Candidates must hold a valid Class B CDL, have at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience, and be comfortable working outdoors in all weather. Teamwork and safety come first in this fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid Class B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch‑freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre‑inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE.
