Job summary

QXO is hiring a class A/B CDL driver to support the loading, hauling, and delivery of building products. You will perform touch-freight tasks, inspect loads, and communicate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries, while following DOT and company safety procedures.

Ideal candidates are at least 21, have a valid CDL, 12+ months of verifiable driving experience, and are comfortable working outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL Class A or B license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify load accuracy.
• Notify branch management of potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect site for safe loading/unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher for timely delivery.
• Follow DOT and company safety procedures and wear PPE.
