Job summary

QXO is a leading distributor and installer of building products, serving a vast market across North America. The role involves delivering and loading materials, pre‑inspecting trucks, and maintaining safe loading environments while communicating with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries.

Candidates must hold a valid CDL, have at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience, and be prepared for outdoor work in all weather.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch‑freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre‑inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE.
