Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a CDL Automated Side Loader Driver to service routes and keep communities clean and safe. You will operate an Automated Side Loader Truck, provide exceptional customer service, perform safety checks, and collaborate with the team to meet daily operational needs.

Ideal candidates possess a valid CDL, a safety mindset, strong communication, and the ability to work outdoors across varying weather. This is a full-time, on-site role with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• CDL license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and associated equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and enter/exit equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an Automated Side Loader Truck on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers per route.
• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials per procedures.
• Operate vehicle controls and hydraulic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report safety concerns, accidents, or delays promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations.
• Use onboard tech to complete route documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and professional appearance.
• Collaborate with teammates after completing routes as directed by management.

Your Role

As a CDL Automated Side Loader Driver , you'll safely operate a n Automated Side Loader Truck while servicing customers along assigned routes. You'll be responsible for safely collecting, transporting, delivering, or servicing materials while providing outstanding customer service and representing Coastal professionally every day.

What You'll Do

• - Safely operate a n Automated Side Loader Truck on assigned routes.


• - Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers based on assigned route.


• - Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials in accordance with operational procedures.


• - Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.


• - Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.


• - Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.


• - Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.


• - Utilize onboard technology and electronic devices to complete route documentation.


• - Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.

• - Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.

What You'll Bring

• - Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an acceptable driving record.
