Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling, Inc. is seeking a CDL Rear Loader Driver to operate a rear loader truck on assigned routes, collecting and delivering materials while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• CDL license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to climb, bend, squat, kneel, and enter/exit equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Rear Loader Truck on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers.
• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials per procedures.
• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Utilize onboard technology to complete route documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
• Help a teammate finish their route or assist with other ops needs as directed.
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Wear required PPE at all times.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Coastal Waste & Recycling.

Your Role

As a CDL Rear Loader Driver , you'll safely operate a Rear Loader Truck while servicing customers along assigned routes. You'll be responsible for safely collecting, transporting, delivering, or servicing materials while providing outstanding customer service and representing Coastal professionally every day.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a Rear Loader Truck on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers based on assigned route.
• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials in accordance with operational procedures.
• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Utilize onboard technology and electronic devices to complete route documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.

What You'll Bring

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and associated equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to safely climb, bend, squat, kneel, and enter/exit equipment throughout the workday.
• Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules as business needs require.
