Coastal Waste & Recycling is hiring a CDL Automated Side Loader Driver to service routes in the Southeast. You will operate an automated side loader, collect and transport materials, and provide excellent customer service while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an Automated Side Loader Truck on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers.
• Collect, transport, deliver, or dispose of materials per procedures.
• Report safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and professional appearance.
• Use onboard tech to document routes and communicate with dispatch.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily operational needs.

Your Role

As a CDL Automated Side Loader Driver, you'll safely operate a n Automated Side Loader Truck while servicing customers along assigned routes. You'll be responsible for safely collecting, transporting, delivering, or servicing materials while providing outstanding customer service and representing Coastal professionally every day.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a n Automated Side Loader Truck on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers based on assigned route.
• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials in accordance with operational procedures.
• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Utilize onboard technology and electronic devices to complete route documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.

• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Coastal Waste & Recycling professionally.

What You'll Bring

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and associated equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to safely climb, bend, squat, kneel, and enter/exit equipment throughout the workday.
• Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules as business needs require.
