APAC Alabama, Inc. in Andalusia, AL is seeking an Asphalt Distributor Trainee to operate the distributor on road construction projects and learn the job under supervision.

A current CDL is required and tanker endorsement is preferred, along with the ability to read instructions and perform basic math for measurements. You will assist with routine maintenance, setting up the spray bar, and ensuring the equipment is in good working condition.

Qualifications

• Must have a current CDL license (prefer Tanker endorsement).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short memos.
• Basic math: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate Asphalt Distributor Truck on road construction projects.
• Set spray bar on distributors for applying liquid asphalt.
• Perform minor servicing, oiling, greasing, and adjustments on equipment.
