Job summary

C.R. Jackson, Inc. is hiring a Distributor Driver to safely operate and maintain our asphalt distributor truck in Jefferson, SC. You’ll apply asphalt materials to road surfaces, support paving crews, and ensure safety and efficiency on every job.

Requirements include a CDL with tanker and Hazmat endorsements, a high school diploma or GED, and 1+ year of CDL driving experience. Willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A or B with tanker and Hazmat endorsements required.
• 1+ year of CDL driving experience (construction or paving preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and perform manual labor.
• Willing to work days, nights, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate the asphalt distributor truck to apply materials on road projects
• Set up and control spray bars, pumps, and valves for even asphalt distribution
• Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure safe operation
• Assist with plant or paving crew duties as needed
• Keep accurate delivery and work logs
• Communicate clearly with the paving crew and supervisor
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
