Job summary

Penske Logistics in Washington’s Winlock area is seeking a full-time CDL Class A Yard Truck Driver to join our team. The role combines yard driving with warehouse duties to keep trailers moving and products properly staged.

You will operate 53' dry vans and yard tractors, couple/uncouple, chock and spot trailers, scan items in our warehouse management system, and assist with loading/unloading as needed. OT applies after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the past 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal/state laws, regulations and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function
• English language proficiency required
• Work schedule at the required location and pass background and drug screening
• This position is safety sensitive and requires alertness and safe conduct

Responsibilities

• Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by leadership
• Couple and uncouple trailers
• Chock trailers as they are spotted for loading and unloading and pull from doors
• Use a clamp truck to stage and sort products for loading
• Load and unload trailers
• Sort and place parts in racks or designated areas
• Stack boxes and pallets
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrap, boxing, labeling)
• Electronically scan products using the warehouse management system
