Job summary

Blair Enterprises is seeking a LOCAL CDL-A DRIVER in Denton, TX. This 2nd shift position involves yard operations, spotting and moving trailers, and returning loaded units. Home every day and a consistent schedule Monday-Friday with occasional weekend overtime.

You will maintain the truck, follow safety protocols, and be ready to pass background and drug tests. CDL-A is required; yard jockey experience is preferred; must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a smartphone for payroll.

Responsibilities

• Take out trailers with empty racks to accounts and return loaded trailers.
• Spot and move trailers within the yard.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform daily vehicle walk-arounds.
• Follow all company safety protocols and work independently or as part of a team.

LOCAL CDL-A DRIVER

LOCATION

Denton, TX 76207

PAY

• $22/hour for non CDL-A


• $24/hour for CDL-A Drivers

SCHEDULE

• 2nd shift


• Monday-Friday


• Occasional mandatory weekend overtime

ABOUT THE POSITION

• This driver will be taking out trailers with empty racks to accounts, and bringing loaded trailers back or will be spotting in the yard


• Home every day


• Responsible for maintaining the truck including cleanliness and daily vehicle walk-arounds


• Follow all company safety protocols.


• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

REQUIREMENTS

• CDL-A required


• Yard Jockey experience (preferred)


• 23 years of age


• Clean driving record


• Able to pass a criminal background check


• Able to pass a drug test


• Smart phone required for payroll access and job duties


• Ability to work in all weather conditions (indoor/outdoor)


• Must be able to sit, stand, and lift up to 75lbs


• Performing other job-related duties as required
