Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking a qualified truck driver to support shipping and receiving at our facility in North Carolina. You will move, park, and hook trailers, perform pre/post trip inspections, and maintain accurate logs.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A license ( tanker endorsement if needed ), good safety practices, and strong communication. You will operate in yard, dock, and over-the-road routes as needed with a team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL Class A license with tanker endorsement if needed is required.
• DOT regulations knowledge and safe operation practices are essential.

Responsibilities

• Move and park trucks and trailers to optimize yard and shipping/receiving operations.
• Hook, unhook, and position trailers and tractors in dock areas.
• Maintain accurate trailer and inventory movement logs and perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Ensure yard cleanliness and sanitation; wash exterior of vehicles if required.
• Complete sales route deliveries and/or over-the-road routes as needed.
• Adhere to all DFA quality, safety, DOT, and GMP policies and report incidents.
• Attend driver workshops and trainings as required.
