Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A license with tanker endorsement if required.
• Must meet DOT requirements and DFA MVR standards.
• 5+ years tractor/trailer experience preferred.
• Minimum age requirements must be met.
• Read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Perform trailer movement according to prioritization to optimize plant or warehouse efficiencies.
• Hook, unhook and move trucks to and from service and dock areas.
• Spot or position loaded/unloaded trailers at assigned dock spaces.
• Connect loaded semitrailers to tractors for drivers.
• Maintain accurate trailer and inventory movement logs.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Ensure area is sanitary and clean; wash exterior of trucks if needed.
• Complete sales route deliveries and/or over-the-road routes as needed.
• Adhere to DFA policies including safety, DOT, GMP; report nonconformities.
• Attend driver workshops and training sessions.
