Amcor LLC in Princeton, NJ seeks a skilled CDL-A driver to transport inventory between Berry facilities and local plants. You will operate tractor-trailers, load and unload with a forklift, and ensure accurate paperwork and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include maintaining product integrity, daily vehicle checks, and supporting in absence of Traffic Coordinator while adhering to EHS and cGMP policies.

Job DescriptionSUMMARYThis position requires a CDL-A license.Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, this position is responsible for transportation of inventory between facilities, shipment of inventory from warehouses, and transport of product/equipment between Berry facilities and other locations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned that pertain to the classification.Understanding and implementing all safety rules and policies regarding the use of powered industrial trucks, handling heavy equipment or material, and general warehouse safety.Inspecting truck for defects before and after trips and reporting any discrepancies indicating truck condition to supervisor.Moving trailers and transport product between local plants and offsite warehousing using tractor trailer.Loading/unloading production/equipment using forktruck.Ensuring that all proper documentation and paperwork are in order to transport product and equipment.Hauling loads to/from Berry Princeton facilities to other locations in the area.Processing, setting up and shipping products from outside warehouses as well as the plant.Ensuring product integrity is maintained at a high level.Ensuring inventory accuracy is maintained.Providing assistance in absence of Traffic Coordinator.Maintaining warehouse housekeeping standards.Following applicable EHS, Food Safety and cGMP policies.Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
