Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Ponca City, OK is seeking CDL-A drivers. The position offers guaranteed pay from day one and room to grow, with routes across 27 states east of Denver. Training and ramp-up support are provided.

You will drive dry van trailers, with a mix of live load/unload, and will earn a base weekly pay, plus stop pay and mileage incentives. Health benefits after 30 days and a 401(k) match are included.

Qualifications

• New CDL-A holders welcome, or 6+ months of verifiable solo experience.
• 120+ hours completed at an accredited CDL training school
• 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license in current state of residence
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• No DUI/DWI within the past 5 to 10 years
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing

Freight & Equipment

• Dry van trailers
• Combination of live load, live unload, preload, and drop and hook

Home Time & Schedule

• Home every 2 to 3 weeks
• Day and night dispatch available
• Weekend work expected, holidays can be requested off
• Runs across 27 states, everywhere east of Denver except New England

Earnings

• $800/week trainee pay during training
• $1,000/week guaranteed for your first 3 months after your first solo dispatch
• $1,300 to $1,800 average weekly pay, increasing with experience
• $0.50 cpm starting mileage rate on a 6 month pay band
• $15 stop pay, unload pay matches OTR rate when required

On the Road

• 1,800 to 2,400 miles weekly
