Mendocino Forest Products LLC. seeks an experienced Truck Driver (CDL REQUIRED) to join the Distribution Operations team in Scotia, CA. This non-exempt, hourly role pays about $30.09 per hour and includes comprehensive benefits.

The driver will deliver wood products to customer sites, adhere to safety and DOT regulations, and maintain logs, load security, and equipment inspections. Travel within the state up to 75% is expected.

Formación

• Truck driving school completed with 1+ year of over-the-road experience or 3–6 years of related experience.
• Requires Class A CDL, current DOT physical, and clean DMV record.
• Travel outside local area but usually within the state up to 75% of the time.
• Maintain valid CDL, DOT card, and clean DMV record throughout employment.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively with customers or employees.
• Ability to perform basic math, rate, ratio, and percent calculations.
• Ability to operate and maneuver vehicles in varying traffic and loading/unloading situations.

Responsabilidades

• Drive flatbed truck and trailer to pick up and deliver wood products on time.
• Adhere to company, DOT, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Secure loads and ensure proper weight distribution; check ties and tarps.
• Inspect tractor, trailer, and equipment before/after trips and during stops.
• Submit daily vehicle inspection reports at day start and end.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and monitor fluid levels and tires.
• Maintain records for compliance, including logs and fuel/mileage records.
• Ensure shipping documents accompany shipments and collect bills of lading.
• Report accidents and delays promptly to supervisor; communicate delays of 30+ minutes.
