Job summary

The Wagner Companies is seeking CDL Class A Truck Drivers to operate in our log yard network around Cayuta, NY. This role requires a clean CDL A and a valid DOT medical card, with a preference for drivers who have 5 years of tractor-trailer experience and at least 3 years of hands-on driving.

Earn first-shift hours with overtime opportunities in a regional Northeast route. Daily duties include operating tractor trailers and straight trucks, delivering lumber to company facilities, and collecting

• Must have a valid DOT medical card.
• Preference for 5 years tractor-trailer experience, minimum 3 years required.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailer or straight truck (tri-axle) with wagon.
• Operate on interstates, state and local roads across NY, PA and nearby northeast states.
• Deliver lumber to company facilities and external lumber suppliers.
• Load/unload and pick up logs from landings and yards.

CDL Class A Truck Driver Summary:

CDL Class A Truck Driver Pay & Benefits:

• Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Salary: $22 - $26/hour *

CDL Class A Truck Driver Qualifications:

• Must possess a clean CDL A


• Must have a valid DOT medical card


• Prefer a candidate who has 5 years experience driving tractor trailers, but MUST have a minimum of at least 3 years

CDL Class A Truck Driver Daily Duties:

• Primary duties include driving a tractor trailer or straight truck (tri-axle) with wagon attached


• Driving on interstate highways, state highways, county roads and local (town) roads throughout New York, Pennsylvania and occasion other northeast states


• Delivering lumber to various company facilities and outside lumber companies


• Picking up logs from log landings, log yards and other company operations
