Job summary

R+L Carriers is hiring CDL A Team Truck Drivers for our Sauget, IL Service Center. Team drivers are on the road 5 days and home 2 days each week, with a yearly pay range of $140,000–$160,000 per driver and comprehensive benefits.

You’ll pull van trailers up to 53’ or doubles between service centers, maintain a clean MVR/ PSP, and complete a DOT physical and drug screen. PTO after 90 days and a strong benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with at least 1 year of verifiable driving in the last 3 years.
• No major violations on MVR/PSP; clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Team driving experience preferred; able to work 5 days on the road, 2 days home.

Responsibilities

• Operate van or double trailers up to 53’ between service centers.
• Be on the road 5 days and home 2 days each week.
• Maintain safe driving practices and cooperate with team.
• Meet DOT requirements and company safety standards.

Job Description

CDL A Team Truck Drivers, Yearly range is $140,000 - $160,000 year (each driver)

Our Team Drivers are home every week!

PTO available after 90 days of employment and enjoy an excellent benefits package that includes our very own employee resorts

As a Team Driver, you will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between our service centers and/or turn-point locations. All our teams are on the road for 5 days and home for 2 days every week.

Requirements

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must be able to complete a successful road test
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable

Preferred

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz-mat
• Experienced pulling doubles
• Any LTL freight experience
