Job summary

The Arthur Companies is seeking a CDL Class A driver to transport agricultural products from Harvey, North Dakota, in a safe, timely manner for our diversified business operations.

You will operate company-owned or leased trucks, perform pre/post-trip inspections, secure loads, and handle loading or unloading as needed. The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, at least three years behind the wheel, and a commitment to safety and teamwork in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with a Medical Card.
• Three years of driving experience preferred and a clean driving record.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate company-owned and/or leased trucks.
• Complete all required reporting.
• Maintain certifications per DOT, OSHA and safety programs.
• Maintain company property in excellent condition.
• Inspects truck before and after trips, requesting repair as needed.
• Reads bill of lading to determine assignments.
• Secure trailer during transit.
• Assists or individually responsible for loading or unloading of the truck.
• Services truck with oil, fuel and other required fluids.
• Follows traffic laws and accident procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
