Job summary

The Arthur Companies, Harvey, North Dakota is seeking a professional driver to transport product using company-owned and leased trucks, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will complete required reporting, inspect vehicles, read bills of lading, secure trailers, assist with loading/unloading, service trucks, and maintain certifications (DOT/OSHA). CDL A with Medical Card and 3 years' driving experience preferred; strong customer service and teamwork required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A License with Medical Card required.
• Three years driving experience preferred.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and a team player.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, stand/sit for extended periods, work in dust.

Responsibilities

• Operate company-owned and/or leased trucks.
• Perform completion of all required reporting.
• Maintain required certifications per DOT/OSHA and safety programs.
• Maintain company property in excellent condition.
• Inspect truck before and after trips and request repairs as needed.
• Read bill of lading to determine assignments.
• Secure trailer during transit.
• Assist or be responsible for loading/unloading of the truck.
• Service truck with oil, fuel and other fluids.
• Drive with knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws.
• Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate company-owned andor leased trucks

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• CDL Class A License with a Medical Card
• Three years of driving experience preferred
