Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Greer, SC is hiring drivers for its East Coast dry van fleet. New CDL holders train for $850 a week and come home every two weeks.

After solo, there is a $1,000 weekly guarantee for 3 months and pay at $0.55 per mile rising to $0.65. Expect about 2,500 miles weekly and $1,200–$1,500.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old with valid Class A CDL and at least 120 hours CDL school.
• No experience required; 6 months in 12 or 12 months in 5 years acceptable.
• Military experience considered with DD214.
• No major violations in 2 years; no DUI/DWI in 5–10 years.
• Hair and urine drug tests; 3 years verifiable work history.

Greer is the home terminal for this East Coast dry van fleet, a short drive down Interstate 85 from Gaffney. New CDL holders train for $850 a week and come home every two weeks.

Close to Home

• Greer terminal, about 30 minutes away
• Freight up and down the eastern seaboard
• Loads don't go far west

Pay

• $850 a week during 4 to 6 weeks of training
• $1,000 weekly guarantee for 3 months after you go solo
• $0.55 per mile to start, up a cent per year to $0.65
• Average weekly pay $1,200 to $1,500
• About 2,500 miles a week, $15 stop pay

Home Time

• Every two weeks

Requirements

• 21+, valid Class A CDL, at least 120 hours CDL school
• No experience needed. Experienced: 6 months in 12 or 12 months in 5 years
• Military considered with DD214
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years, nothing serious in 12 months
• No major preventable accidents in 5 years, no DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years
• Hair and urine drug test, 3 years verifiable work history
