Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Class A Linehaul Truck Driver in Sauget, IL. Drivers pull van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers, returning home daily. PTO after 90 days and a robust benefits package accompany the role.

Requirements include CDL Class A, 1 year of verifiable Class A driving in the past 3 years, clean MVR/PSP, and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen. Hazmat and other endorsements are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience in the past 3 years.
• Good driving record with PSP, limited violations in the past 3 years, and no major violations.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A vehicles to move van or double trailers between service centers and turn-point locations.
• Return home daily after routes.

CDL – A Truck Driver Linehaul, Earn up to $125,000 yearly

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for Class A Linehaul Drivers at our Sauget, IL Service Center. As a Linehaul Driver, you will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between our service centers and/or turn‑point locations, and returning home daily.

PTO available after the first 90 calendar days of employment, and enjoy an excellent benefits package that includes our very own employee resorts.

Requirements

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must be able to complete a successful road test
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable

Preferred

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz‑mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz‑mat
• Experienced pulling doubles
• Any LTL freight experience
