Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Class A Linehaul Driver for the Montebello, CA Service Center. You will pull van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers and turn-points, returning home daily.

This role offers hourly pay and a full benefits package, including medical/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k) plan with company matching, plus paid vacation and lodging at exclusive employee resorts.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving in the past 3 years.
• Good driving record (MVR/PSP) with limited violations.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Must be able to complete a road test.

Responsibilities

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for Class A Linehaul Drivers at our Montebello, CA Service Center. As a Linehaul Driver, you will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between our service centers and/or turn-point locations, and returning home daily.

Requirements

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must be able to complete a successful road test
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable

Preferred

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz-mat
• Experienced pulling doubles
• Any LTL freight experience
