GAATCO in Portland, OR is hiring a Local CDL-A Intermodal Truck Driver to run regional routes with guaranteed daily home time. You’ll operate modern day cabs, stay within a 0–300 mile radius of the local rail ramp, and handle live load and drop-and-hook freight.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 3 months of current, active Class A driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Pass DOT physical and drug screen.

Salary & Compensation

• Average Annual Earnings: $64,000
• Weekly Pay: Average $1,240/week (Top 10% earn up to $1,750/week)
• Overtime: Paid after 40 hours of work per week

Job Schedule & Home Time

• Home Time: Home Daily (Every night)
• Work Week: 5-day scheduled work week (Optional 6th day available for extra earnings)
• Shift Duration: 10 to 12 hours per day

Daily Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) safely in regional and local areas.
• Manage multiple dispatches per shift within a 0–300 mile radius of the local rail ramp.
• Handle a mix of live load and drop-and-hook freight.
• Drive modern, top-of-the-line day cabs equipped with automatic transmissions.
