GAATCO is seeking an experienced Local CDL-A Intermodal Truck Driver in Portland, OR. This role offers daily home time with a 5-day work week and optional 6th day for extra earnings.

You will operate a Class A CMV within a 0–300 mile radius of the local rail ramp, handling live load and drop-and-hook freight in modern day cabs with automatic transmissions.

Formación

• Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A) license.
• Minimum 3+ months of current Class A driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• No students or recent driving school graduates (trainees) for this fleet.

Responsabilidades

Salary & Compensation

• Average Annual Earnings: $64,000
• Weekly Pay: Average $1,240/week (Top 10% earn up to $1,750/week)
• Overtime: Paid after 40 hours of work per week

Job Schedule & Home Time

• Home Time: Home Daily (Every night)
• Work Week: 5-day scheduled work week (Optional 6th day available for extra earnings)
• Shift Duration: 10 to 12 hours per day

Daily Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) safely in regional and local areas.
• Manage multiple dispatches per shift within a 0–300 mile radius of the local rail ramp.
• Handle a mix of live load and drop-and-hook freight.
• Drive modern, top-of-the-line day cabs equipped with automatic transmissions.
