Job summary

AgState in Hartley, IA is seeking a Truck Driver to support Grain and Agronomy operations. You will transport grain, fertilizer, and feed ingredients to customers and company locations, while upholding safety and providing strong customer service.

You will perform daily vehicle inspections, coordinate maintenance with the transportation team, and ensure equipment reflects AgState's commitment to excellence. A valid Class A CDL, 21+ years, and DOT screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with 2 years of experience and required endorsements.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to meet DOT physical and medical requirements.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing substance abuse screenings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Agricultural experience is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to obtain additional certifications and training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport grain, fertilizer, and feed ingredients to customers and company locations.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate maintenance needs with the transportation team.
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean, professional equipment that reflects AgState's commitment to excellence.
• Provide outstanding customer service to producers and fellow team members.
• Support additional locations and operations as needed.
• Contribute to a safe and positive team environment.
• Maintain safe operation of truck by abiding by AgState’s values and roadway laws.
