American Driver LLC in Aliquippa is recruiting solo drivers for a regional dry van fleet. Home every two weeks with freight running the eastern half of the country. New drivers train first at $850 a week, with a $1,000 weekly guarantee for the first three months.

Solo drivers average about 2,500 miles weekly, paid at $0.55–$0.65 per mile, plus a performance bonus. Orientation lasts two days or less and pays $300 once you are hired. A one-way bus ticket is reimbursed with receipts.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL, 21 or older.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
• No DUI or DWI in 10 years.
• DOT physical and hair and urine drug screen.

Responsabilités

If you live in Aliquippa, Ambridge or anywhere in Beaver County, this regional dry van fleet can put you to work whether your CDL is one week old or ten years old. The freight runs the eastern half of the country, you average $1,200 to $1,400 a week, and you are home every two weeks. New drivers train first at $850 a week, which is above the usual training rate.

Your paycheck

Solo drivers run about 2,500 miles a week. Mileage pay is $0.55 to $0.65 per mile based on verifiable experience, and a performance bonus plan pays on top. Extra stops pay $15. New solo drivers are covered by a $1,000 weekly guarantee for their first three months.

Starting with a fresh CDL

• $850 every week while you train
• 3 to 5 weeks on the road with a mentor (200 to 250 hours)
• Real freight, real docks, real lanes
• Your own truck when your mentor signs you off
• Truck driving school of at least 120 hours required

Starting with experience

• 6 months or more of recent tractor-trailer driving
• No training period: orientation, then solo
• Higher starting rate as your verified experience grows

Where you go

Loads run up and down the East, from the Great Lakes to the Gulf and the Atlantic coast. They do not go too far west. Freight is a mix of drop and hook, preloaded trailers and live loads.

First two days

Orientation lasts two days or less and pays $300 once you are hired. A one-way bus ticket is reimbursed with your receipt.
