Job summary

Duchesne County is seeking a Truck Driver to operate a range of county road maintenance vehicles, transport materials, and support snow removal operations. You will ensure safety, perform routine maintenance, and abide by county procedures under the Roads Department Director.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A with general and airbrake endorsements, and you must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. On-call during the snow season is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate trucks, heavy equipment, and related transport gear safely.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks, trailers, and related equipment to haul materials for county roads.
• Perform snow removal and de-icing to keep roadways safe during winter.
• Conduct basic preventive maintenance and log daily vehicle checks.
• Drive safely with proper signaling and adherence to road conditions.
