Duchesne County is seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to support the Roads Department with operation of trucks and equipment for road construction, maintenance, and repair. The role requires a valid CDL Class A with general and airbrake endorsements, and you must be available for on-call duty during the December–February snow season.

Performs a variety of skilled tasks in the operation and service of trucks, transports, and specialized wheeled equipment needed to construct, maintain or repair county roads and service systems. May, on occasion, operate heavy motor equipment. The Truck Driver is responsible for maintaining and improving upon the efficiency and effectiveness of all areas under his/her direction and control. Works under the general supervision of the Roads Department Director. All Road Department employees may, at any time, be considered emergency personnel. Responsible for the safety of County citizens, Road Department employees must be available to be on-call during the "snow season" (Dates may vary due to weather) including on County observed Holidays.
Must have a valid CDL Class A with general and airbrake endorsements.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Must be able to be on-call from December 1st - February 28th. (These dates may vary depending on weather.)
