Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking drivers for routes starting in Romulus, MI. New CDL holders train at $900 a week, with average weekly gross pay of $1,200 to $1,500 and 1,500 to 2,100 miles per week.

The job offers a $1,000 weekly guarantee for the first 3 months solo, plus comprehensive benefits and home time every two weeks. Training for new drivers lasts 4 to 6 weeks with an experienced trainer, followed by solo pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL, at least 21 years old.
• New drivers: 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Max 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5 years, no DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Outbound from Michigan, then back to Michigan for the next load.
• Drop and hook, preloads, live loads and live unloads.
• Home every 2 weeks for a full reset.
• Day and night dispatches, holidays as customers need.

Downriver drivers, this fleet's freight starts right here in Romulus, Brownstown and New Boston. Your first load goes out of Michigan, and dispatch works you back toward home for the next one. New CDL holders train at $900 a week.

Pay

• $1,200 to $1,500 average weekly gross

• $15 stop pay and a performance bonus
