Job summary

Ryder is seeking drivers for regional routes with weekly home time and competitive pay. Earn $1,558+ per week with top earners over $2,200 weekly. The role offers benefits after 30 days, 80 hours PTO in year one, and equipment including sleeper tractors with APUs and 48'/53' dry vans.

You will drive to TX, LA, OK, AR, KS, CO, NM, schedule Sunday–Thursday, start at 10:00 AM, and finish deliveries by morning. Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• 9 months of driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Hazmat endorsement must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Must be at least 21 years old and pass Ryder drug test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver solo to TX, LA, OK, AR, KS, CO, NM.
• Operate sleeper cab tractors with APUs and 48'/53' dry vans.
• Load/unload or assist at shippers; use lift gates and pallet jacks as needed.
• Complete required safety checks and training on equipment.

Earn $1,558+ per Week - Weekly Home Time

• Earn $1,558+ per week - Top earners make $2,200+ weekly
• Solo stops pay: $19.00 per stop with 15 - 20 stops per week
• Route: Regional
• Home weekly - some drivers home 1-3 days depending on routes
• 80 hours PTO your first year, starting day 1 (use it or get paid for it)

Schedule, Freight & Equipment:

• Schedule: Sunday - Thursday
• 5 day work week, occasional 6th day
• Start time: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM with deliveries next day between 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM
• Deliver solo to:TX, LA, OK, AR, KS, CO, NM
• Tractor Type: Sleeper with APUs
• TrailerType:Dry van, 48' and 53'
• Equipment: Lift gate and pallet jacks
• Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight: Touch - Hardware equipment
• Endorsements: Hazmat - must obtain within 90 days of hire
• Must be willing to assist at other locations

Requirements:

• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
