Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking drivers for CDL-A dry van OTR routes. You’ll operate a late-model, assigned tractor-trailer, perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and maintain logs to DOT standards. Expect weekly pay and a straightforward onboarding process with guaranteed orientation pay.

New CDL holders welcome. Training lasts 4–6 weeks with an experienced mentor, followed by an immediate upgrade to full solo mileage pay. Home time is two weeks out with two full days home.

Qualifications

• Clean MVR and background check.
• Requires valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card.
• 120+ hours completed at CDL training school.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on OTR dry van routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and stay compliant with DOT/FMCSA hours of service
• Communicate with dispatch on load status, delays, and route changes
• Secure freight properly for drop and hook and live load/unload stops
• Maintain a clean driving record and represent the company professionally on the road

What You Will Earn

• $1,300 to $1,550 average weekly gross pay
• Top 25% of drivers clearing $1,900 per week

What It Takes to Qualify

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card, 21 years or older
• New CDL-A holders welcome, or 6+ months of verifiable solo experience
• 120+ hours completed at an accredited CDL training school
• Clean MVR and background check
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• No DUI/DWI within the past 5 to 10 years
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing
