Job summary

Hansen & Adkins is offering paid auto hauler training for CDL-A drivers in Texas. The program provides consistent routes, good home time, top pay, and extensive benefits after 30 days of employment.

Equipment includes late-model trucks with safety features and both manual and automatic transmissions. Benefits begin after 30 days, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, life/AD&D, FSA, paid holidays and PTO, and orientation/training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have Class A CDL from state of residence.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• No automatic restriction.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and road test.
• Must be able to work a 7-day work week if necessary.
• Hiring radius: live within 50 miles of hiring location.
• Good driving record: no suspensions or revocations in past 5 years, no more than 4 violations in 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and secure loads.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules and maintain timely deliveries.

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

• Home Time: Home daily and weekends
• Variety of schedules available
• Level of Touch: Load, unload, and secure loads

Equipment:

• Late model Trucks with state-of-the art equipment, including 100% soft tie down
• Transmission: Manual and Automatic
  • Drivers must be able to operate a manual transmission (No CDL automatic restriction)
• Outward and inward event triggered cameras in all tractors

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have Class A CDL from state of residence
• Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer truck driving experience
  • Previous auto-hauling experience is preferred but not required
• No automatic restriction
• Must be able to work a 7-day work week if necessary
• Must have a good driving record
  • No driving-related suspensions or revocations in the past 5 years
  • No more than 4 motor vehicle violations in a 36-month period
• Must be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and road test.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 50 miles of hiring location.
