Job summary

All Surfaces Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver for route deliveries in Wood Dale, IL. The role requires reliable, detail-oriented teamwork with responsibilities including loading/unloading, load verification, and on-time deliveries.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:00am start until routes are finished. Eligible for a $3K hiring bonus (paid incrementally). Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment screenings; forklift experience and ERP familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A and pass DOT physical and drug tests.
• Knowledge of Customer Service Fundamentals, OTR routing, OSHA, and DOT.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Commercial Transportation with CDL.

Responsibilities

• Loading/unloading merchandise with forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Verify loads for accuracy.
• Deliver merchandise safely and on schedule.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Obey traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain ELOG and comply with DOT/FMC regulations.
• Report defects, accidents, and violations.
• Coordinate with dispatch and customer care on deliveries.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

We are immediately seeking a qualified Class A CDL Truck Driver who is highly detailed and enjoys the satisfaction of getting the job done right and on time. An ideal candidate is a reliable, dependable team player with experience doing route deliveries in a semi-truck.

Branch: All Tile - CCS in Wood Dale, IL

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, start time will be 5:00am until routes finished

**ELIGIBLE FOR A $3K HIRING BONUS: Paid out incrementally at 60, 90, 180 business days**

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading merchandise with forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Verify loads for accuracy.
• Deliver merchandise to the destination safely and on schedule.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Provide excellent customer service to our customers during deliveries.
• Obey and follow applicable traffic laws.
• Maintain ELOG and comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Report defects, accidents, and violations.
• Communicate and coordinate with dispatch and customer care team on deliveries.
• Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent degree.
• Knowledge of Customer Service Fundamentals, Over the Road (OTR) Transportation Routing, OSHA, and DOT.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Commercial Transportation with CDL.

Other Qualifications

• Must have a CDL (Class A) and pass DOT-required physical and related drug tests.
• Able to pass additional pre-employment screening required by the company.
• Experience driving a forklift is a plus.
• Experience in the flooring industry is a plus.
• Ability to work with details such as vendor item numbers, vendor catalogs, customer lists, phone systems, and ERP software.
• Ability to learn core computer competencies with general operating systems for orders and related functions.
• Legally permitted to work in the United States.
