Job summary

All Surfaces Inc. in Urbandale, IA is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) to support warehouse operations by fulfilling logistical needs in processing, storing inventory, picking orders, and making deliveries to our customers promptly.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm with local routes. Requires minimum 2 years warehouse/fulfillment experience, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and a clean driving record, plus MVR screen clearance. Forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse and/or fulfillment experience.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 75 lbs.
• Clean driving record including a valid state motor vehicle license.
• Ability to pass the Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screen.
• Legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Commercial driving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, stage, and load customer orders.
• Receive inventory and inspect products for damage, stock products to bin locations.
• Verify orders for accuracy and quality at every stage of receiving and shipping process.
• Operate equipment for material handling (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Follow SOPs for shipping/receiving paperwork and systems.
• Assist Branch Manager in maintaining warehouse safety, maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Organize inventory to meet safety and efficiency standards.
• Ensure pallets are shrink-wrapped, strapped, and banded for storage and transport.
• Deliver customer orders on schedule while complying with DOT regulations for vehicles 26,000 lbs or less.
• Carry out other duties as required.

Position Summary for Warehouse/Delivery Driver (Non-CDL)

We are immediately seeking a qualifiedWarehouse Associate/Delivery Driver to support the warehouse operation by fulfilling logistical needs in processing, storing inventory, picking orders, and making deliveries to our customers promptly.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm, local routes

Pay: $20-$21/hr

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, stage, and load customer orders.
• Receive inventory and inspect products for damage, stock products to bin locations.
• Verify orders for accuracy and quality at every stage of receiving and shipping process.
• Operate all equipment necessary for material handling such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other relevant equipment.
• Follow shipping and receiving standard operating procedures (SOP) for both paperwork and electronic systems processes.
• Assist the Branch Manager in executing warehouse standards of safety, maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Organize inventory to meet safety, efficiency, and inventory control standards for storage and transport.
• Ensure SOPs for inventory control are followed so pallets are properly shrink-wrapped, strapped, and banded for storage and transport.
• Delivering customer orders per our established schedule as a delivery driver ensuring a positive customer experience while complying with all Department of Transportation regulations for a vehicle 26,000 lbs. or less.
• Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.

Qualifications

Education & Experiences

• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse and or fulfillment experience or a similar environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with consistent, accurate, and quality work output.
• Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks to maximize productive results.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 75 lbs.
• Commercial driving experience is a plus!
• Clean driving record including a valid state motor vehicle license.
• Ability to pass the Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screen in accordance with company requirements.

Other Qualifications

• Forklift experience and the ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Experience in the flooring and/or building materials industry is a plus.
• Able to wear work boots and meet the standard of the company’s workplace safety.
• Be able to pass a background check and drug test for pre-employment screening.
• Legally permitted to work in the United States.
