American Driver is seeking new CDL‑A holders for a Paid Mentor Program on the Gulf Coast, offering real OTR miles and expert guidance to launch a solo driving career.

Program features 4–6 weeks of paid training, guaranteed weekly pay, and a seamless transition to solo rates. It also includes $300 orientation, no‑touch freight, and established routes from Gulfport/Biloxi area.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• Graduate from an accredited CDL school (120+ hours) OR under 6 months of recent OTR experience.
• Clean driving record and pass a standard background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Drive 2,200 to 2,800 miles per week on East of I-35 lanes.
• Participate in a paid mentorship, gaining real OTR miles with an experienced mentor.
• Move to full solo rates after completing the program and enjoy guaranteed weekly pay during mentorship.

We are currently hiring recent CDL-A graduates directly out of Gulfport, Biloxi, Harrison County, and the surrounding MS Coast area. Instead of turning away new drivers for lack of experience, our Paid Mentor Program gives you the real-world OTR miles, professional guidance, and financial stability needed to launch a successful solo driving career.

THE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

SOLO PAY & FULL BENEFITS

• 100% No-Touch Freight: Dry van loads, with roughly 70% drop-and-hook.
• 2,200 to 2,800 miles per week average across established East of I-35 lanes.

SCHEDULE & HOME TIME

• 12 Days Out / 2 Days Home: Reliable, scheduled OTR rotations out of the Gulfport area.
