Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is hiring entry-level CDL-A drivers for dry van freight in Texas, mainly east of I-35. You’ll begin with a hands-on trainer for 4 to 6 weeks, earning $650 per week during training, and you won’t go solo until your trainer signs off.

After training, you’ll earn $1,000 per week for the first 3 months, then $1,400 to $1,800 weekly on average once established, with medical, dental and vision benefits after 30 days and other company-paid protections.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• 120+ hours of CDL training.
• Must be 21 years or older and have a clean driving record.
• Able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Haul dry van freight, primarily east of I-35.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch and customers.
• Ensure accurate ELD logs, DVIRs and trip paperwork.
• Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections.
• Bi-weekly home time.
