Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Texas is hiring entry-level CDL-A drivers for dry van freight, mostly east of I-35. If you have a Class A CDL and 120+ hours of CDL school, we’ll pair you with a personal trainer for 4 to 6 weeks of hands-on evaluation on real routes.

During training you earn $650 per week, then $1,000 per week for the first 3 months, and $1,400 to $1,800 on average once established. Medical, dental and vision coverage begin after 30 days, with company-paid life and AD&D, plus a 401(k) match

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• 120+ hours of CDL school
• 21 years or older
• Clean driving record
• Able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Haul dry van freight, mainly east of I-35
• Bi-weekly home time
• Full DOT compliance, strong on-time delivery numbers
• Accurate ELD logs, DVIRs and trip paperwork
• Thorough pre/post-trip inspections
• Clear communication with dispatch and customers
