Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is hiring entry-level CDL-A drivers for dry van freight in Texas, primarily east of I-35. You will complete a 4–6 week trainer-led program and start earning $650 per week during training. You won’t go solo until your trainer signs off, with bi-weekly home time once established.

During training you will learn safe operation, ELD rules, and proper trip paperwork. After proving yourself, expect $1,000 weekly for the first 3 months and $1,400–$1,800 weekly thereafter, with medical,

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• 124+ hours of CDL school experience required.
• You must be 21 years or older.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Haul dry van freight, mainly east of I-35.
• Bi-weekly home time.
• Maintain full DOT compliance and accurate on-time delivery records.
• Keep accurate ELD logs, DVIRs and trip paperwork.
• Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections.
• Clear communication with dispatch and customers.
