Job summary

McLane is seeking CDL-A Driver Trainees to join a team that builds careers in distribution and transportation. Trainees receive paid training, hands-on coaching, and day-one benefits, with a clear path to a $90,000–$95,000 annual target after training.

During training you earn $21 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance. A $5,000 retention bonus is offered, plus 401(k) after 90 days and other perks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Possess a Class A CDL.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver tractor and attach trailer safely.
• Operate truck in compliance with laws and company policies.
• Inspect equipment and submit DOT inspection reports.
• Document deliveries with Driver Delivery Handheld and verify temperatures.
• Assist with unloading and provide customer service.
