Job summary

NIS EXPRESS seeks CDL-A Trainee Drivers for a paid training program in Eastern North Carolina. You’ll earn a trainer-supported training wage, then a guaranteed weekly pay after solo dispatch. Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.
• Eligible for at least 21 years of age.
• No major violations in past years and able to pass DOT physical, hair and urine tests.
• Live within 200 miles of Richmond, VA.

Responsibilities

• Home every 2 weeks.
• Weekly mileage between 1,900 and 2,300 miles.
• Freight carried: dry van with drop-and-hook and live stops.
• Mostly Eastern zones, rarely west of the Mississippi.
