Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A CDL with airbrakes.
• Experience operating trucks, trailers or heavy equipment is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to obtain other endorsements.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate trucks and equipment to move trailers between facilities, jobsites, and customer locations.
• Hook and unhook trailers with proper connections and securing.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily equipment inspections.
• Inspect trailers for damage, tires, lights, brakes, and safety gear.
• Coordinate trailer movements with dispatch and operations personnel.
• Maintain logs and documentation for trailer movements.
