C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a yard/trucking associate to move trailers, secure loads, and manage BOL paperwork at our Minnesota location. CDL is required, and you will operate pallet jacks and forklifts to handle freight on loading docks.

You will start and monitor reefer units, verify shipments, and maintain logs. The role requires flexibility across shifts, including weekends, with attention to safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Must be able to work days, evenings, nights and weekends as per company needs.
• Lift freight up to 50 lbs frequently and over 70 lbs occasionally.
• Sort, handle, load and unload freight using pallet jack, forklift and by hand.
• Walk/stand on loading dock; operations on non-climate-controlled surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers to/from docks and secure loads.
• Manage BOL paperwork.
• Start and set reefer units; check trucks/drivers in and out.
• Use appropriate equipment to secure freight inside trailers.
• Scan and track shipments using handheld devices.
• Keep logs of trailers moved to/from bakery or storage.
